A boy believed to be six years old has been killed and dumped behind the Sapato filling station at Fetteh Kakraba by unknown assailants in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
This increases the number of killed persons to a total of five people within a month.
Prior to this, a 58-year-old woman and another Nigerian national were killed at the same Fetteh Kakraba community few days ago.
The Assembly member for Buduburam- Fetteh Kakraba Electoral Area, Lot Arthur says, within one month, five people have been killed in his electoral area which is worrying.
According to him the Buduburam District Police Command have become handicapped since the officers lack vehicles for patrols.
“We have been calling for tighter security within the area. Anytime you lodge a complaint at the police station, they complain that they don’t have vehicles for patrol.”
He, therefore, appealed to the IGP, Dr. George Akuffo-Dampare to mobilize more men in the area and assist the officers deal with the murder cases to reduce the increasing crime rate.
