Salaries Of Presidents Are Too Huge – Chairman Wontumi
The NPP Ashanti regional chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako(Wontumi) said salaries of Presidents should be reduced in order to develop the the country in a shorter period of time. The NPP chairman was saying this to create a room for fairness and peace.
He also stated that former presidents takes an equal pay as the president in power despite in opposition.

The constitution mandates both should be paid equally, though the opposition president is not the serving the country. The NPP chairman also stated it clear that, when it comes to salary reduction, the opposition president must reduced his own first.
Since many people in the country are complaining of financial hardship, The opposition president can even help citizens, and find jobs for unemployed people since he is not in power.
He stated by saying is not fair, so the constitution on salaries of presidents should be edited
