Only NDC can rescue Ghana’s sick economy – Dr. Robert Doh

An aspiring Ho Central MP, Dr. Robert Doh has reiterated the need for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be given a chance to change the economic fortunes of the country.

Dr. Doh who is a medical practitioner by profession made the comment when he met some party faithful at the residence of the branch chairman of Matse Dzokpe, Michael Ashigbey whose house he renovated into a more befitting apartment suitable for the family.

Dr. Doh noted that Ghana is at a point where it needs the NDC to rescue its bad economic crisis and make it a better place to promote businesses.

He said Ghana is in a very deep crisis and that the only way forward is to have a change of government to put things in order.

“Ghana is in a very deep crisis now, economically. And we all can attest to the fact in the expenditures that we make daily, that family cost has risen, education cost has risen, transportation has risen which needs urgent change with the NDC to make things right again,” Dr. Doh said.

He stressed that with regard to exchange rates, the fundamentals are weak with many financial institutions collapsing due to the inability of the New Patriotic Party to effectively manage the economy.

“We were talking about what the exchange rates would do when the fundamentals are weak and they have not been able to manage the economy well, making many banks and financial institutions collapse and the money that they use in collapsing the banks is even more than what they needed to revive the banking sector,” Dr. Doh noted.

He urged Ghanaians to as a matter of urgency make the right decision to bring the NDC back to power so that Ghana can become a better place to live.

Mr. Michael Ashigbey was grateful to Dr. Doh for giving a facelift to his almost collapsing house and also all other help rendered to his family and the community.

Dr. Robert Doh has also organised free health screening in communities in the Ho Central Municipality.
