I Am Surprised If She Says Leadership Is Hunting Her – Majority Leader To Adwoa Sarfo
The Majority Leader in parliament Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said he is surprised by the comments of Sarah Adwoa Sarfo a member of parliament about Dome Kwabenya’s consistency.
He opined that Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has made a regrettable statement by saying that the leadership of the New Patriotic Party is hunting her.
“I am surprised if she says leadership is witch-hunting her. I think it is the most unfortunate statement and for the past two months, I have not been engaging [her] because I have sent numerous messages to her, and she has not responded to [any of them],” he stated.

But the majority leader advised that the privilege committee can not push the matter concerning Dome Kwabenya’s consistency to Plenary because that is the duty of the privilege committee.
“It will be unconstitutional for the Privileges Committee to push it to plenary because that is not what the constitution provides. The onus lies with the committee to make that determination and not the plenary.
This follows the comment of Sarah Adwoa Sarfo that she is now a victim of a sustained political witch-hunt by some elements in the NPP and Parliament to achieve their own parochial goals.
