2022 was a mix bag of too many lies & deception from the political class – Adjei Sarfo

Founder and Director of Youth Enterprise Synergy (YES) Clement Adjei Sarfo has described 2022 as a year that was full of challenges that was led by lies spearheaded by the political class.

Speaking on Ultimate 106.9 FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Mr. Sarfo told the morning show host Julius Caesar Anadem that authorities failed to inspire the citizenry to achieve a lot for the country only to deceive the public in many ways.

Citing the E-levy failed targets and the IMF conversations that ended in Ghana going for a bailout, the youth activist noted are clear testament to his assertions.

“I sometimes don’t want to talk about 2022, it was a poor year of leadership failure. They didn’t inspire the youth and many Ghanaians”

“They told us the E Levy was going to rake in money to build our roads, to pay contractors, to improve security, tell me which of those has been achieved”

“They told all of us they were not going to the IMF but today, that is happening, tell me if this is not lies. 2022 was just a mix bag of lies ad everything negative, the politicians were the culprit”, he lamented

He intimated that he does not expect anything extraordinary in 2023 as the same bad leaders are at the helm.

“My 2023 wish is just to thank God for my life, all other things might remain the same if our leaders are not thoughtful. I will implore Ghanaians to just prepare for tougher times in this year, don’t listen to the political authorities, never they will keep telling you lie”
